Famous sports star’s daughter to star in Miss Universe

Caoimhe Kenny, the daughter of former Republic of Ireland football manager Stephen Kenny, has no room for football jerseys in her case this month.

The 23-year-old is getting ready to represent Louth in a Miss Universe Ireland contest that will take place on Friday, where she will go up against 27 other girls from around the country.

The winner of this competition will then attend the 73rd Miss Universe Competition that will take place in Mexico on November 16.

As for Caoimhe, she works at Brown Thomas as a fashion buyer so when it comes to style she is always on the ball. She is also trained in ballet, tap, modern dance and acrobatics but also has a passion for helping others.

According to the Irish Independent, she is connected to Save Our Homeless, a Dundalk-based charity that helps those who have fallen on hard times.
