Ireland boss Eileen Gleeson has made five changes for this evening’s Euro 2025 play-off first-leg clash away to Georgia, with Grace Moloney given the nod to start in goals in place of the suspended Courtney Brosnan.

Ahead of this evening’s game in Tbilisi, Tyler Toland, Lily Agg, Abbie Larkin and Kyra Carusa also come into the Irish starting 11, with Gleeson’s side looking for a healthy lead to take back to Tallaght for next Tuesday’s second leg.

Arsenal star Katie McCabe will captain the Girls in Green yet again, with Anna Patten and Caitlin Hayes retained at centre-half, as well as Aoife Mannion.

Ireland stalwart Denise O’Sullivan starts too, with Galway United’s Julie Ann-Russell also keeping her place after finding the net in the side’s last outing – a big 3-1 victory against France in Cork.

With 94 places between Ireland (24th) and Georgia (118th) in the world rankings, the winners of this round one play-off will progress to the next round against either Wales or Slovakia, the winner of that earning a place at the Euro 2025 finals in Switzerland next July.

Ireland: Moloney; Russell, Mannion, Patten, Hayes, McCabe; O’Sullivan, Toland, Agg; Larkin, Carusa.
