Greece comes into this match after a stunning 2-1 win over England on Wednesday at Wembley to take control their group. The win has given the Greeks a surge of momentum as they look to continue their impressive run.
They took the lead in that match just after the break with Vangelis Pavlidis weaving through three defenders to slot a low effort past the goalkeeper. He also got the match-winner in stoppage time, as England scrambled in the box once again and knocked the ball to him.
He didn’t miss.
Greece is 3-0-0 and has nine points in League B, Group 2.
They will be without defender Konstantinos Koulierakis as he is serving a one-match ban for picking up his second yellow card of the Nations League campaign against England. Liverpool left-back Kostas Tsimikas also remains doubtful after missing that game because of illness.
This game will be the first played in Greece following the tragic death of right-back George Baldock, who died at the age of just 31 last week. Baldock was reportedly discovered unresponsive in the swimming pool at his home in the suburbs of Athens. No other details were available.
Meanwhile, Ireland is 1-0-2 and has three points.

They handed new boss Heimir Hallgrimsson his first win since taking charge when they beat Finland 2-1 on Thursday.
Ireland will be without Callum O’Dowda after he picked up an injury before the win over Finland, a game where Brighton striker Evan Ferguson made his first start since March.
With confidence at an all-time high, Greece will be eager to build on that success in their upcoming match.
