NI designer Jonathan Anderson teams up with Guinness for luxury clothing collaboration
Northern Ireland fashion designer Jonathan Anderson has launched a limited edition collaboration with Guinness which features luxury jumpers and branded t-shirts.
The Magherafelt born designer has teamed his label, JW Anderson, with the iconic drink to create the collection which celebrates “the unrivalled craft and vibrancy that runs through the heart of both iconic brands.”
The capsule collection features a black jumper complete with both the JW Anderson and Guinness logo, which is currently on sale for £890, while another black jumper featuring the Guinness logo is on sale for £690.
The collection also features a t-shirt with the slogan ‘Aren’t You Glad You’ve had a Guinness’ and another which features a drawing of a pint of the black stuff on sale for £155 each.
The capsule is an expansion on the collaboration first unveiled on the catwalk at Milan Fashion Week in June as part of JW Anderson’s Spring/Summer 2025.
In a statement, the fashion designer who was named British Designer of the Year at last year’s Fashion Awards, said Guinness was always a brand he wanted to collaborate with.
“I’ve always been obsessed by Guinness and their brand. I think they are still today one of the greatest advertisers and I liked this idea of using their amazing graphics,” he said.
“I’ve always wanted to be able to show some of it, because in fashion we think we are so radical but actually, Guinness was way before all of that.”
Stephen O’Kelly, Global Brand Director at Guinness said: “Working with Jonathan and his team to bring this stunning collection to life has been a privilege.
“This partnership is a true celebration of creativity, heritage, and passion. We hope consumers love the collection as much as we do.”
The capsule will be available to purchase from JW Anderson in Soho, London, JW Anderson in Milan, JW Anderson in Shibuya Parco, Tokyo and at jwanderson.com from November 15th.
