Ulster Stores opts to focus on better in-person retail experience at its three outlets

A Northern Ireland family-run department store business has said it decided to shut its website to focus on in-person shopping.

Ulster Stores, which owns The White House in Portrush and Moores of Coleraine, and a store in Llandudno, gave the update in accounts for the year to January 31, 2024. Following the website’s closure, the company said turnover was down 1.95% year on year to £14.3m. Pre-tax profits were down 48% to reach £423,000.
