Taylor Swift spotted wearing show staple piece by ‘delighted’ Irish designer
TAYLOR Swift will rock a pair of gloves created by a top Irish designer when she performs for hundreds of thousands this weekend.
Taking her Eras Tour to Ireland, the Shake It Off singer has been wearing Paula Rowan gloves during her The Tortured Poet’s Department set on tour.
The designer is more than flattered to have a piece of her creations displayed in such a huge way.
Paula told The Irish Sun: “Taylor Swift is known for her strength and confidence as well as her ability to constantly transform and evolve. For all of those reasons, I am delighted that she chose my gloves to wear.
“Swift’s style has evolved over her career and she uses both her lyrics and her outfits to communicate and to craft a story so I am honoured to be a part of that narrative.”
Twice this week, the pop sensation was spotted wearing the AIDA gloves, a design that “embodies classic features”.

Complimenting her custom Vivienne Westwood corset dress, it is made from recycled white taffeta and features lyrics from her latest single Fortnight.
Taylor was also pictured wearing the gloves with a Vivienne Westwood silver twill tailcoat and custom silver twill bustier and matching high-waisted briefs.
Paula’s designs are now part of Taylor’s permanent wardrobe with high end brands such as Versace, Roberto Cavalli and Chrisian Louboutin.
Taylor isn’t the only major celeb to be donned in Paula Rowan as Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Madonna and Naomi Campbell are also fans of the brand.

Lady Gaga was famously wearing the designer while starring in House of Gucci, while Beyonce posted a series of photos on Instagram last month showing off Paula’s Montserrat gloves.
Taylor Swift will bring her sold-out Eras Tour to Dublin’s Aviva Stadium on June 28, 29 and 30.
The Irish Sun can reveal the Swift concert – along with other major events taking place across the capital this weekend – has been classed as an “extraordinary event” by Garda Commissioner Drew Harris.
The events have also been classified as placing a “significant organisation and operational demand” on the force.

A huge policing operation – similar to the one deployed when US President Joe Biden visited Ireland last year and the Europa League Final took place in May – will also be undertaken over the weekend.
Garda members who were due to have a day off on June 29 have now been instructed to work for “additional duties” and overtime.
The Public Order Unit will also be on standby as over 600,000 people are expected to flock to the capital.
Once an “extraordinary event” is declared by the Commissioner, leave for guards can be restricted and days off cancelled.
